MEET THE FOUNDER
Bronwen Peternell, FNP
Bronwen Peternell is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of clinical experience across many settings: Internal and Integrative Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation, and Pediatrics. She has diagnosed and treated the array of illnesses consequently developed by her patients, who had engaged in a lifetime of unhealthy habits. It is what constituted a majority of medical visits: chronic disease and complications that could have been prevented through healthy lifestyle behaviors.
Bronwen became a Family Nurse Practitioner with the intent to prevent disease and promote health through education. This is a difficult task to do in the current medical model. Bronwen started her own practice to change that.
Bronwen fundamentally believes that people can change. They WANT to change. They simply need the exposure and the right environment to promote change.
In her spare time, Bronwen practices what she preaches! When not with her patients, you can find her running or biking along the coast, grunting during a strength training workout, grocery shopping for the ingredients to the latest and greatest recipe, cooking up a storm in her kitchen, or losing herself playing Chopin. She enjoys all this and more when she can share it with her incredibly energetic 9-year-old son, Jack, and loving husband, Brian.
